Annet Mahendru
Mahendru was born to a Russian mother and Hindu Indian father in Afghanistan. She is fluent in German, Russian and English in addition to French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru has a Russian-Indian father. She choreographed an 11-year-old dance that led to her being a German TV show appearance as an Russian Snow Maiden who transforms into a jovial Indian dancer. Following her graduation from the requirements for high school and college in New York, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. John's University. She studied comedy and improvisation at Groundlings School after leaving HB Studio. She was created by her parents in Kabul Afghanistan, to Hindu-Indian Ghanshan Kenne Mahendru (father) and Russian Olga (mother). Her family relocated to East Meadow New York, together with her father after she was 13, and is now starring with Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel in FX's The Americans. She is best known as the former KGB Agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. The actress was a regular character on the Fox series The Following, and NBC's The Blacklist.
